About & contact

Updated October 11, 2026

WithholdingFix is a free federal tax withholding calculator for individuals, married couples, and retirees. It helps you estimate a household tax gap and see how much extra federal tax to take out of future paychecks or pension payments.

Who operates the site

WithholdingFix is operated by Matthew Craig Heath in Michigan, United States. The site is independent. It is not affiliated with the IRS, a state tax agency, or the Railroad Retirement Board. No licensed tax, financial, or legal professional credentials are claimed.

What you can do here

Plan for 2026 using current pay information or last year’s income with expected changes. Review 2025 using full-year totals. Include your spouse’s income when filing jointly, compare withholding splits, and print the results or save them as a PDF.

The calculator covers supported federal income-tax situations. State and local taxes are not included. See the calculation methods and limitations before using a result.

Contact support

For questions, accessibility help, or error reports, email support@withholdingfix.com. Describe the tax year, filing status, calculation step, and expected result. Use fictional or rounded example figures. Do not send Social Security numbers, full tax returns, bank details, or passwords.
